A lovely Sunday afternoon...

A perfect Sunday afternoon. :)

Today was a wonderful day...my son, Alex and I went for a drive into the mountains. And we also went for a walk around the house. It was a good day...the rest was spent with Aubrey. We got to watch football and enjoy a delicious barbeque. Its days like today that make life seem perfect. <3

My favorite month..

September is my favorite month for the following reasons...
  • Aubrey and I's anniversary; we met 4 years ago this month. Its sad I don't remember the exact date but I know it was this month. Haha.
  • My son, Alex was born on the 26th of this month. He will be turning 3!
  • Autumn begins; I love the changing of the weather.
  • My brother, Lionel's birthday. He's one of my favorite persons in the world. He's miles and miles away and I miss him terribly.
Its the 7th day into the month and so far, I'm happy with the way my days are going. Although I received news that Alex's papa will have open heart surgery on Friday...I know he'll be fine. Because he's a strong man...and prayers will help him. We are looking forward to his return after his recovery.

Today, Alex and I are going to go for a ride into the mountains. I know it'll be a good day because he enjoys these rides. :)

Fishing

An Introduction;

My name is Karen...I also go by Kat. I'm from a small town in New Mexico, Navajo. I was born and raised here...I graduated high school 12 years ago. I've lived in Mesa, Az for almost 9 years. And in those 9 years I lived a glorious life of parties and parties....I received my certificate in Medical Records from Apollo College(which is now Carrington College)...I had about 6 different jobs....I made fabulous frens...I lost my daddy to cancer. Just about 4 years ago my life changed...I met the man whom I now call my husband, Aubrey. We have a beautiful little boy, Alex, who will be turning 3 at the end of the month. Now we live back home, in Navajo. I love my life with these two...its happy and it brings sunshine to my life. Aubrey works full time and I am a stay at home mother/wife. I hope to begin work again once my son starts school. This is where I am in life...
